 Knox Box Program

Knox Box™ Program

The Sardis Volunteer Fire Company is currently using a Knox Box™ program of which businesses and even residents can purchase key vaults that only the Fire Company has access to, with a specially designed key. The benefits of this program are as follows:

  • Increases response time by eliminating the need to wait for a "key holder" for your property.
  • Reduces the potential for property damage by providing a key to unlock doors and gain access to secured areas.
  • Eliminates the need for the property owners or the "key holders" to respond at inconvenient times.
  • Only the Fire Company has access to the Master Key that opens the Knox Box™ key vault located on your property.  The Fire Company Master Key is kept in a Keyscure™ Vault mounted on the fire apparatus that tracks the date, time and person who removes the Master Key.

If you are interested in joining in the Knox Box™ program just follow these five easy steps to obtain the box that best fits your business or home.

 1.

Contact the Sardis Volunteer Fire Company by email, phone or in person at:

Sardisfire.org
724-327-3987
5205 Rocky Hill Lane, Murrysville, PA 15668 And ask about the Knox Box™ Program

 2. Review and fill-out the catalog / order form with the Vault system that would best fit your needs.  As always Fire Company personnel can assist with the proper selection and location of your Knox Box™ system.
 3. Obtain the authorized Fire Company signature on the order form from the Fire Chief or their designee.
 4. Return the order form back to the Knox Company
 5. After receiving your order, mount your equipment in a convenient entrance and notify the Fire Company.
